A second half surge from the Sharks wasn't enough to stop a sizzling Roosters side hell bent on spoiling the party at PointsBet Stadium on Saturday night.

Despite the result, there were moments of brilliance in a tough encounter with a number of Sharks players doing all they could to try and lift their team to a win.
