Man of the Match - Round 4

A number of injuries kept a host of outside backs sidelined for round four, with Craig Fitzgibbon turning to Siosifa Talakai to fill the void at centre - and fill the void he did!

Having dabbled in the centres on a number of occasions, Talakai was ran riot on the Knight, finishing with a try, 223 running metres, 72 post contact metres, 17 tackle busts, one linebreak, one linebreak assist and two offloads.

Talakai went up against one of the best and most accomplished centres in the game in Dane Gagai. And he left that battle as the clear winner.

It seemed the easy choice for fans this week, with the 24-year old scoring a massive 87% of the Aramex Man of the Match vote.

Hooker Blayke Brailey, milestone man Aiden Tolman and Halfback Nicho Hynes were the next three in line, each with 2% of the vote.

Where Talakai ends up when players return from injury is anyone's guess, but with performances like the ones we've seen over the last few weeks it's safe to say he'll be in and around the action moving forward!
