The Jets took a massive step towards cementing a Finals berth last weekend, while the Jersey Flegg Sharks after a bye week have already confirmed their place in the top five, ahead of the final rounds of the respective competitions this weekend.

In beating the competition-leading North Sydney Bears the Jets find themselves in fourth position on the table and baring a 50-plus poits loss to the Eels on Sunday will qualify for the five team Finals series.

As for the Flegg Sharks, also fourth, they can finish no worse than fifth, no better than fourth, regardless of the result of their last regular season game.

Both teams play matches against Parramatta at James Hardie Centre of Excellence, Kellyville, on Sunday.

The Jersey Flegg Sharks locked in their place in the top five with a win in round 24 over the Canberra Raiders, before having last week off due to a bye.

The under-21 Sharks now head to CommBank Stadium to face the Parramatta Eels in their last regular season game. The match will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.

The Sharks can't improve on fourth with a win and can't finish worse than fifth, but could potentially be jumped by the Wests Tigers with a loss.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 30 - Kick-off 12.00pm

A stirring victory over the first placed Bears has all-but confirmed the Jets will qualify for the NSW Cup Finals, with just one game remaining in the regular season.

In one of their best performances of 2026, the Jets scored a 30-20 victory over the Bears and heading into their last match against the Eels, hold a 55-point for-and-against advantage over the sixth-placed Roosters, who have a round 26 bye.

However regardless of the scenario, the Jets will be keen to head into the upcoming Finals games with a sixth straight win when they face the 12th placed Eels on Sunday.

The game will be the first of a triple-header at CommBank on Sunday, kicking off at 12noon. See following the two team lists.
