Sharks have an ‘Ace’ up their sleeve in 2022

The Sharks are pleased to announce the return of Ace Gutters as a major corporate partner, with the Sydney-based company to become the Club’s sleeve sponsor in 2022.

The front of jersey major partner for both the 2019 and 2020 seasons, Ace Gutters are back on deck, with the company branding to feature prominently on the sleeve of the Sharks NRL jersey for the next two seasons.

With a head office located in Mortdale, for almost 70 years Ace Gutters has maintained a reputation for manufacturing the highest quality goods in offering complete systems of guttering, roofing and drainage, specifically designing and introducing DURAKOTE® pre-painted Steel into the rainwater products market.

Headed up by CEO Don Anderson, a former Sharks director and a long-time supporter of the Cronulla Club, the partnership is a positive step forward, with the announcement of Ace Gutters now seeing the Sharks having filled all their jersey branding properties for the upcoming season.

In announcing the return of Ace Gutters, Sharks CEO Dino Mezzatesta welcomes back a valued Club partner heading into what is promising to be an exciting 2022 season.

“It’s like they never left! We’re thrilled Don and Ace Gutters have agreed to return as one of our major partners. It extends a long association between the Sharks, Don and Ace Gutters and as they did when agreeing to be front of jersey partners ahead of the 2019 season, they are again showing great belief in the direction the Club is heading,” Mezzatesta said.

“I’m proud to be partnering up with such a long-standing, quality local brand, one that is extremely successful in their industry and a company with strong community values.”

The sleeve sponsorship continues an alliance with the Sharks for Ace Gutters CEO Anderson that now dates back over three decades.

“Ace Gutters has serviced the Sutherland Shire for close to 70 years and we have over 180 employees working out of our Head Office, a large proportion of which are avid Sharks supporters,” Mr Anderson said. “I feel the fit is right for us to return as a major partner and it’s great to be back on board and for us to be on the Sharks NRL jersey sleeve.

“As we were with our previous partnership, we are confident that our involvement will not only benefit Ace, we have a lot of very good products and are confident the exposure will enhance our business, but it will be of benefit to the Club as well,” Anderson added.

Fully Australian owned and with a head office, showrooms and manufacturing operation in Sydney’s south, Ace Gutters produce their Australian made products in manufacturing plants in Mortdale, Nowra on the South Coast of NSW and in Victoria.

They also have display centres in Newcastle, the Central Coast and Canberra.

Ace Gutters replace TFH on the sleeve of the Sharks NRL jersey.

In welcoming Ace Gutters, Mezzatesta farewell and thank TFH, a company who specialise in the supply of quality temporary hire products, including fencing, skip bins and portable toilets, hired to a wide range of Australian and international businesses, for their generous support.

“Brett and Owen Thomas from TFH have been loyal supporters of the Sharks over the past three seasons and we are most appreciative of the backing they have provided,” Mezzatesta added.
