It was a heartbreaking loss for the Sharks on Sunday, as they slipped further south on the NRL ladder, landing two points adrift of a finals berth with just three weeks left to play in the regular season.

It was a physical contest from the get go, with a handful of Sharks putting in strong performances despite the result.

Up front, Jack Williams had arguably his best game of the season. Playing on an edge he clocked in 126 metres, with 53 post contact metres and 3 tackle breaks.

It was his defensive work however that stood out. Hitting with venom he made 38 tackles, with an efficiency of 90.5%.

Back at the familiar venue of Redcliffe's 'Dolphin Stadium', Toby Rudolf topped the team for tackles made with 59 at a tackle efficiency of 93.7%.

Blayke Brailey's service was as crisp as always, and his defensive efforts were rock solid against the big Knights pack.

Our back five were busy across the park, all clocking in well over 100 metres, with Ronaldo Mulitalo and Jesse Ramien adding to their try-scoring tally for 2021.

Braydon Trindall did his best to spark the attack, creating two line break assists and a try assist to go with his 3 tackle breaks and 100% conversion rate.

The grit and determination was certainly on show from the boys, but enough from us, who was your best on the day?
