Late Mail - Sharks v Knights

The Sharks will run out as selected for the game against the Newcastle Knights at the Moreton Daily Stadium today, a match with massive finals ramifications.

The Sharks and Knights go into the match level on 18 competition points, with both having the opportunity to move inside the top eight with a victory this afternoon.

Sharks coach Josh Hannay will stick to the 17 as named on Tuesday, a team featuring the positional changes of Siosifa Talakai into the centres in place of Will Chambers, Braden Hamlin-Uele goes from the interchange into the starting front row, while Jack Williams will move from lock to play edge back row.

Hannay has retained the pairing of Connor Tracey and Brayden Trindall, with youngster Luke Metcalf on the bench and capable of playing either in the halves or at fullback if required, and utility Billy Magoulias gets an opportunity, named on in jersey 17 to play what would be his first game in the NRL since round nine.

Jonaiah Lualua and newcomer Kai O'Donnell come out of the 19-man squad as named yesterday.

The Sharks and Knights match is scheduled for a 4.05pm kick off, with the two 17-man squad, plus 18th man interchange substitutions, listed below.
