Taco Team List Tuesday

With the loss to the Raiders a setback, the Sharks are now set for a crucial showdown with the Bulldogs on Sunday at Cbus Super Stadium in a round 19 match up.

The Sharks retained eighth position on the NRL ladder despite the loss against Canberra, however a number of teams edged closer, the Raiders amongst them, with every game now critical in the run home to the 2021 NRL Finals.

For the game on Sunday, the Sharks will be without the services of experienced campaigner Aiden Tolman, who will miss the match due to suspension, however coach Josh Hannay has otherwise limited the changes despite the disappointing defensive effort last weekend.

In the forced change to the Sharks team, Toby Rudolf has been named in the number 8 jersey as the man to take over in the front row for Tolman, while Jack Williams comes into the starting side at lock.

On the Sharks bench, Royce Hunt has been selected on the interchange for what would be his first game of the 2021 season. Hunt badly injured a knee two weeks out from the finals last year, had an early-season set back with his recovery and now fit and fully recovered will be keen to make an impact against the Bulldogs on Sunday.

The Sharks and Bulldogs game is scheduled for a 4.05pm kick off at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast, with the match to be shown on free-to-air on Channel 9 and also on Fox Sports and Kayo.
