Late Mail - Sharks v Raiders

The Sharks will field the same 17-man line up which was successful in beating the Warriors last weekend for their round 18 clash with the Canberra Raiders today.

Coach Josh Hannay has stuck solid with the players who he praised for their performance last weekend, with Braydon Trindall retaining his place in the halves and youngster Teig Wilton his spot in the Sharks run on side.

In one change to the team as selected on Tuesday, Hannay will start the match with Siosifa Talakai in the back row, while shifting Briton Nikora to the interchange bench, as was the case last Sunday when the Sharks notched a 20-12 win over the Warriors.

Aaron Woods, who stayed behind on Wednesday to be with wife Sarah for the berth of their second child when the Sharks left for the Queensland bubble, has joined the team and will lead the Cronulla side in today's match.

The Sharks are still missing Matt Moylan who continues to battle a lower leg issue, with Will Chambers yet to join the group due to complications over the NRL's COVID protocols.

The game between the Sharks and Raiders kicks off at 5.30pm (changed from the originally scheduled 3.00pm start time) at the CBus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast.

The match is the first of a double header, with the Storm to play the Knights at 7.30pm.
