Taco Team List Tuesday

Rested and refreshed following a week off due to the bye, the Sharks host the competition leading Panthers on Friday night in a round 14 match to be played at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

On the back of two consecutive victories, the Sharks play a Panthers side which has seven players involved in the State of Origin match tomorrow night.

The status of those seven players, six in the Blues squads and former Shark Kurt Capewell representing the Maroons, won’t be confirmed until later in the week.

As for the Sharks, coach Josh Hannay has stuck with the Matt Moylan-Shaun Johnson combination in the halves, with the pair impressive in the win over the Titans two weeks ago.

In the only change to the Sharks line up, Andrew Fifita has been named to return in jersey 17, with young prop Franklin Pele, who debuted in the game in Coffs Harbour, included on the extended reserves list.

Also outside the top 17 and named in the 21, is Chad Townsend, Teig Wilton and Mawene Hiroti who missed the round 12 win due to suspension.

The last time the two teams met, which was back in round nine, the Panthers ran out convincing 48-0 winners.

The Sharks v Panthers match kicks off at 7.50pm at Netstrata Jubilee on Friday night, with the two squads included below.
