It took them a while to assert their authority on the contest, however eventually the Jersey Flegg Sharks were able to get the better of the Eels last weekend in registering their second consecutive victory and second win of the 2021 season.

The Sharks trailed the Eels for a large part of the contest, only to come home strongly, three tries in the final quarter of the contest propelling the Cronulla side to a 26-18 triumph.

The win came on the back of a narrow victory over the Victorian Thunderbirds the week prior.

The young Sharks now host the Sydney Roosters in a round four match scheduled for PointsBet Stadium on Friday at midday.

The Roosters come into the match after going down by 30-16 to Souths last week and now have one win and one loss so far in 2021.

Spectators are welcome with a $5 entry fee to the game which kicks off at 1.30pm (changed from the originally scheduled 12noon) on Good Friday at PointsBet Stadium.

The Flegg game will be followed by a Ron Massey Cup fixture between Glebe and the Hills Bulls.
