January School Holiday Experiences now on sale

The coaching and instruction was already first class, standing the Sharks School Holiday Experiences out from the rest, but add in a 324-game NRL veteran, the 2016 Clive Churchill Medallist and a man to represent NSW and Australia with distinction and January’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Luke Lewis has agreed to become a program ambassador, with the Sharks legend ready to jump in and help out with some of the footy drills while also signing autographs and posing for photos, with the participants and maybe with mum or dad as well, at the end of the session.

To be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Sharks Academy Fields behind Cronulla High School, the clinics run from 9am until noon, with participants to receive a Sharks t-shirt and showbag.

Registrations are open now, with places for the January experiences traditionally filling fast, so don’t delay and book a place for some special footy fun in these next School Holidays.

Program information, costs and the link to register are below.

JUNIOR JAWS: The Junior Jaws clinic will be open to those aged 4 to 9 and will again focus on the fundamentals of the sport of Rugby League in a manner aiming to encourage young players to get involved in the fun of the game. As well as a morning filled with footy and fun, participants will receive a Junior Jaws t-shirt and show bag.

SUPER JAWS: Super Jaws is an advanced clinic for those boys and girls aged 10 years and over looking to take their Rugby League skills to the next level. The program is ideal for players of Tackle, Touch or Tag and the focus is on 1-on-1 coaching and small groups, led by our professional coaches with Luke Lewis lending a hand. As a lead-in to the winter season footy, Super Jaws provides the perfect platform for skill development.

Super Jaws is designed by our Academy & Talent Identification Manager Glenn Brailey and former Sharks Player and NRL Assistant Coach Daniel Holdsworth, who brings his experiences from over 180 NRL and Super League games. The experience and knowledge the coaching team offers ensures the Super Jaws program is second to none. As well as a morning filled with footy and fun, the participants will receive a Super Jaws t-shirt and show bag.

MINI MERMAIDS: The Mini Mermaids cheer clinics will also make a return over the school holiday period. Those aged 3 to 6 will be treated to 60 minutes of dance, including games and a short routine, followed by a signing and photo session with the Mermaids. The girls aged 7 to 12 will enjoy a two-hour dance clinic with members of the Mermaids crew. Each Mini Mermaid will receive a t-shirt and show bag for participating in the dance clinic.
