NRL Team List - Sharks v Warriors

After a disappointing loss last Friday night it’s crunch time for the Sharks when they face a desperate New Zealand Warriors outfit at Kogarah’s Jubilee Stadium with a spot in the finals up for grabs.

Two significant omissions won’t make the Sharks task any easier, with skipper Wade Graham and premiership-winning halfback Chad Townsend suspended, however the return of Kiwi international Shaun Johnson, up against his former club, is a significant boost for the round 18 clash which kicks off at 6.30pm on Sunday night.

While Johnson for Townsend is something of a straight swap, Sharks coach John Morris has preferred Connor Tracey to youngster Braydon Trindall as his halves partner in another change to the Sharks side.

Siosifa Talakai is the player to come into the Sharks backrow in place of Graham, while Sione Katoa returns on the wing, with Bryson Goodwin reverting the extended reserves list.

Katoa is second on the NRL’s leading try scorers list with 14 four-pointers so far in 2020.

The rest of the Sharks starting 13 remains the same, however Andrew Fifita has been named in jersey 16 on the interchange bench, alongside Jack Williams and Teig Wilton, two other players to have missed last weekend’s loss to the Knights.

The Sharks and Warriors match is scheduled for a 6.30p kick off at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Sunday, with the two teams listed below.
