In relation to Bronson Xerri and his provisional suspension notification yesterday under the NRL’s Anti-Doping Policy, Mr Xerri would like to make the following statement:
“I’m devastated but I’m bound by the system so there is not much more I can say at this stage.There is a process in place that I am required to follow.I’m shattered I’m not playing with the boys this weekend and I wish them all the best for Saturday.”
As Previously outlined by the RLPA, the provisional suspension is not an admission of guilt or wrongdoing. Bronson will have the opportunity to have his B-sample analysed.
ASADA processes are strictly confidential under the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority Act. There will be no further comment on the matter at this time.
