The outstanding late season form from Josh Dugan continued last Saturday, with the Sharks fullback playing a leading role in the big win over the Warriors.
Dugan brought the ball back with gusto, chimed into the backline in creating a dangerous attacking option and was safe under the high ball in a performance which again displayed his renewed confidence heading into the back end of the season.
As a result of his efforts last weekend Dugan received 39 per cent of the fan vote in being voted Man of the Match in round 23, the second week in a row he has been named as the fan favourite.
Also continuing his strong recent form was Shaun Johnson, the Sharks five eighth lethal on the right-hand side in attack while kicking seven goals in his teams win.
His sleight of hand in delivering a perfectly timed pass for Briton Nikora to score, was one of the highlights of the afternoon.
Johnson’s 24 per cent of the vote saw him collect two-points in the end of season Fan Poll Player of the Year count.
And also earning the praise and respect of the fans for his efforts, was hard running front rower Braden Hamlin Uele, the big fella crashing over for a try and proving a handful for the Warrior defence throughout the game.
