Sharks July School Holiday Experience

A visit from Sharks players and a tour of Shark Park, skill development with professional coaches and plenty of footy fun will be had by all at the Sharks July School Holiday experiences.

To be held on Tuesday, July 9, at Shark Park and in the Sharks Leagues Club, the upcoming holiday experiences are certain to keep the most energetic youngster entertained and occupied, while they are certain to also learn something along the way.

Limited places are available for the Junior Jaws clinic, for those aged 4 to 9, the Super Jaws clinic which offers advanced rugby league skill development for the 10 to 12-year olds and the Mini Mermaids Dance Clinic conducted by experienced dance instructors.

All events not to be missed, with places filling up fast.

The Junior Jaws clinic, scheduled to run from 9am to 12 noon, is a morning of footy skills and drills focusing on the fundamentals of Rugby League, with the aim to encourage young players to get involved in the fun of the game.

Participants will receive an exclusive tour of Shark Park, including the Sharks dressing room, while having the opportunity to meet some of the Sharks NRL stars.

Everyone who takes part will also receive a Junior Jaws t-shirt and showbag, with fresh bananas and water provided by Kareela Fresh Fruit.

Taking place at the same time and venue is Super Jaws, an advanced footy skills program for those 10 to 12, aimed at advancing Rugby League skills to the next level, with the clinic ideal for players involved in all forms of the game including Tackle, Touch and Tag.

Held in the middle of the winter footy season, SuperJaws, designed by Daniel Holdsworth, a former Sharks player, U20s Sharks Head Coach and the Club’s Elite Development coach, provides the perfect platform for skill development, with the focus on 1-on-1 coaching in small groups with our professional coaches.

And as with Junior Jaws, Sharks NRL squad members will also make a special guest appearance at Super Jaws with participants getting to the chance to meet their NRL heroes. They also receive a Super Jaws t-shirt and showbag and refreshments courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.

While across in the Sharks Leagues Club Summertime Room, will be the Mini Mermaids Cheer Clinic, held in separate two groups and catering for dancers from three to 12.

Those aged 3 to 6 will be treated to 60 minutes of dance, from 10am to 11am, including games and a short routine, followed by a signing and photo session with the Mermaids.

The second group, in the 7 to 12 years group, will enjoy a two-hour dance clinic with members of the Mermaids crew.

Each Mini Mermaid will receive a t-shirt and showbag and in line with the boys School Holiday experiences, are also provided fresh bananas and water from Kareela Fresh Fruit.
