NRL Team List - Sharks v Storm

The Sharks will renew their rivalry with 2016 Grand Final opponents the Melbourne Storm when they face off at PointsBet Stadium on Friday night.

Coming off a loss to the Broncos and with a number of their stars still unavailable, the Sharks will field a side with a mixture of youth and experience, with Paul Gallen and Andrew Fifita to lead a team which includes youngsters Bronson Xerri, Kyle Flanagan, Will Kennedy, Briton Nikora and Blayke Brailey.

As for their opponents, the Storm come into the game level with the Rabbitohs and Roosters on top of the NRL ladder following six wins from their seven matches.

Sharks Coach John Morris has named Will Kennedy in the number one jersey, while Sione Katoa comes back into the starting side on the wing.

Josh Dugan, who was unable to take to the field in Brisbane due to a mishap during warm up, has been named in jersey 21, with the Sharks to monitor his progress during the week.

And in a positive for the Sharks, backrower Nikora returns after missing the Broncos clash due to a suspension.

The Sharks v Storm clash is scheduled for a 7.50pm kick off at PointsBet Stadium on Friday night.
