The popular and extremely successful Sharks School Holiday experiences return with Junior Jaws, Super Jaws and Mini Mermaids to again provide plenty of fun these April school holidays.
To be held on Tuesday, April 16 at the Sharks Academy Fields and in the Summertime Room area of Sharks Leagues Club, the holiday experiences are sure to keep the most energetic youngster occupied.
Limited places are available for the Junior Jaws clinic, for those aged 4 to 9, offering a day of footy skills and drills focusing on the fundamentals of Rugby League, with the aim to encourage young players to get involved in the fun of the game.
Conducted at the Sharks Academy Fields at Cronulla High School, Junior Jaws runs from 9am-12pm, with participants to receive a Junior Jaws t-shirt and showbag. Fresh bananas and water are provided by Kareela Fresh Fruit.
Taking place at the same time and venue is Super Jaws, an advanced footy skills program for 10 to 12-year-olds.
Super Jaws is aimed at those looking to take their Rugby League skills to the next level, with the clinic ideal for players involved in all forms of the game including Tackle, Touch and Tag.
The focus is on personalised skill development with our professional coaches, including Daniel Holdsworth and Jillaroo Corban McGregor, with the Super Jaws coaching conducted in small groups.
The program is designed by Holdsworth, a former Sharks NRL player with 180 NRL and Super League games under his belt. The current Sharks Jersey Flegg Head Coach and NRL Assistant to John Morris, with Holdsworth and McGregor having the experience and knowledge to ensure the quality of the program is second to none.
Held towards the start of the 2019 winter rugby league season, Super Jaws provides the perfect platform for to improvement and game development.
Super Jaws participants also receive a Super Jaws t-shirt and showbag, as well as being provided fresh bananas and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.
Members of the Sharks NRL squad will also make a special guest appearance at both Junior Jaws and Super Jaws with participants getting to the chance to meet their NRL heroes.
And last but by no means least, is the popular Mini Mermaids Cheer Clinics, to be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 10-11am (3-6 year-old) and 10am-12pm (7-12 year-old) in the Summer Time Room of Sharks Leagues Club
The younger age group will be treated to 60 minutes of games and a short dance routine, followed by a signing and photo session with the Sharks Mermaids.
The girls in the 7 to 12 age group will enjoy a two-hour dance clinic, conducted with members of the Mermaids crew.
Each Mini Mermaid will receive a t-shirt and showbag and in line with the boys Holiday experiences, are also provided fresh bananas and water from Kareela Fresh Fruit.
