Edrick Lee found his home in Cronulla colours this season. Arriving in the Shire prior to Round 1 in 2017, Lee found himself struggling to cement a spot in the 17 but that changed in 2018.
Lee conducted a full pre season under Flanagan and was fit, firing and the strongest he had ever been.
Edrick featured in 19 games this season, crossed the line on 12 occasions, made 14 line breaks and ran for 2298 metres.
His flamboyant style of play, while his ability to find the try line gave the Sharks a quality player who can finish off a well-executed backline move.
His strong power running ensured the Sharks always got off on the front foot of new sets of six.
While he had a solid year on the field, Edrick also shined off the field with his work in the Indigenous community. He was nominated for the NRL Ken Stephen Medal and took out the Sharks have Heart community award at the Sharks end of season awards night.
