2018 Player Review - Kurt Dillon

2018 was a year to remember for Kurt Dillon with the local junior, a De La Salle Caringbah product, making his NRL debut for the Sharks.

In the first five matches of the 2018 season, Dillon took part in warm up, only to change back into his Club polo and watch the action from the stands.

Such is the role of the 18th man, but KD kept his chin up, kept working hard and was rewarded with his first NRL jersey in Round 6 when the Sharks faced the Dragons in the local derby.

Playing through the Sharks junior rep system, before graduating to the Holden Cup, Dillon would then move to the Newtown Jets where he played the 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons.

The young front rower has shown he has a bright future ahead of him, having represented 2018 NSW Residents and being named in the 2017 NSW Intrust Super Premiership Team of the Year.

What better way to make your NRL debut as a Shark than in the local derby against arch rivals the Dragons.

Dillon will join the Rabbitohs next season after signing with the Club back in September.
