The Cronulla Sharks are proud to announce that we have officially broken our all-time Membership record for the fifth-consecutive season.
It has been a memorable 12 months for the Sharks, with hopefully more excitement to come in the following weeks and with another record broken, it's obvious that Sharks Members have shared in our enthusiasm.
As of earlier this week the Sharks have broken their previous single-season membership record, with 15,725 members signed on having joined our 'Tribe' so far in 2018, eclipsing the previous mark of 15,613 set last year.
It is again a wonderful achievement by all concerned, with the Sharks indebted to the loyal fans and long-term Members, as well as the new Members signing on this season, for their fanatical and on-going support.

But in getting to the record Membership mark, the Sharks have ticked off several significant milestones along the way.
It has been quite a journey, and one we all hope doesn't finish until Grand Final Day on the last weekend of September.

MEMBERSHIP MILESTONES
| September 1, 2017 | The new 2018 Cronulla Sharks Memberships became available for our renewing and new Members keen to jump on board early. Members who got in early received a special 1967 logo lapel pin in their Member pack. After a successful renewal period as well as the addition of thousands of new Members our first Membership milestone was reached. |
| November 30, 2017 | For the first time in Cronulla Sharks history, we reached a total of 10,000 Members before Christmas and New Year. The continued support for the club highlights the passion and commitment of Sharks fans. |
| December 16, 2017 | The annual Members exclusive Christmas Party was a great success with over 300 attending an event which involved the players meeting the Members and thanking them for their support. A visit from Santa and giveaways for the Members highlighted an afternoon thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance. |
| March 8, 2018 | A "Win a Trip to Hawaii" promotion was launched, which rewarded one of our Members with a trip for two and an 8-night stay at one of the most exclusive hotels on the main island. |
| March 10, 2018 | Cronulla Sharks had their first in season Members meet and greet, this one taking place for Country and Interstate Members in Townsville. Taking place the day after the Cowboys vs Sharks game approximately 80 Members met the team that had played the night before. |
| April 16, 2018 | Another Membership milestone was reached with the club reaching a total of 15,000 Members, with the number slowly creeping towards the record set the year before. |
| April 27, 2018 | Another interstate game meant another Members meet and greet. This time it was on the Gold Coast and after a positive result the previous weekend, almost 100 Members flocked to the event to meet the players and coaching staff. |
| June 10, 2018 | Members Round, annually a huge event on the Membership calendar and 2018 was no different. Sharks Members were treated to a variety of activities, not only on game day but during the week leading up to the clash against the Tigers. There were daily giveaways including $30 Merchandise vouchers, a $250 Martec voucher, before more random giveaways of flags and blankets to Members sitting on the family hill on game day. The post-match signing session then turned out to be one of the best attended Member events in recent memory, with over 350 meeting and receiving signatures from the players and coach at the exclusive member-only event. |
| June 13, 2018 | After the massive week for the club with Members Round, one final event that occurred and it was a significant one at that. The launch of FINS (Female Inclusive Network of Sharks) was a huge success with women, from not only the Cronulla Sharks Membership base but other groups joining the initiative, helping to promote this ground-braking program. |
| July 26, 2018 | Another Membership record! For the fifth consecutive year Sharks Membership has hit a new high, eclipsing our 15,613 Members from 2017. |
