Team List – Matts Cup - Finals week 2

A spirited 22-18 victory last weekend over the Balmain Tigers sees the Matthews Cup Sharks live to fight another day, with a clash against the Parramatta Eels the next challenge awaiting them on Saturday.

The Sharks did just enough to get the better of the Tigers in their elimination final, taking a handy 18-12 lead lead to half time before holding on in the second period.

As for their opponents this week in the Eels, they were beaten 26-24 by Manly in their qualifying final.

The Sharks and Eels have met once already this season, back in round six, with the Eels running out 30-8 winners.

In the SG Ball, the Sharks have the week off and take on the winner of the Panthers v Raiders game the following Saturday, while in Tarsha Gale, the Cronulla girls also get the chance to rest up and recover before playing the winner of the Illawarra Steelers v Dragons match.

The Sharks Matthews Cup team list, along with video highlights from week one junior rep fixtures, are below.
