The Jets were flying high following a 58-4 thumping of the Newcastle Knights last week, with the challenge being to find some consistency and to repeat their high level of performance against the Bulldogs this week.
The Newtown side certainly found their groove as they ran in 11 tries against the hapless Knights, however the Bulldogs are set to present a far greater test in the round seven match on Saturday.
Adding to the task facing them, the Jets have supplied a number of their in-form players to the Sharks NRL squad, with Jack Williams, Scott Sorensen and Braden Uele called up and now waiting to see if they will be required in Shane Flanagan’s first grade squad.
The Jets and Bulldogs play at Belmore Sports Ground, kicking off at 1.00pm, with the match to be televised live on Channel 9.
