Round 5 Team List - Sharks v Roosters

Despite strong performances in each of his two outings so far this season, Trent Hodkinson has been relegated onto an extended bench with both Josh Dugan and Matt Moylan set to return for the Sharks clash with the Roosters on Friday night.

Moylan for Hodkinson, with the Dugan return sending Valentine Holmes back to the wing, Edrick Lee onto he reserves bench, are the changes to the Sharks side which was successful in defeating the Melbourne Storm last Friday.

Both Moylan and Dugan were said to be close to being fit to play last weekend, however the Sharks medical staff erred on the side of caution in giving the pair another week to overcome their leg injuries.

The Roosters will arrive on Friday on the back of a heavy loss suffered at the hands of the New Zealand Warriors and like the Sharks are two wins from their four matches in 2018.

The Sharks v Roosters clash is scheduled for the early kick off time of 6.00pm at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Friday, with the curtain-raiser a Jersey Flegg match between the Sharks and St George Illawarra Dragons.

The Sharks team to play the Roosters is listed below.
