ISP Team List - Jets v Dragons

The Newtown Jets looked to have snatched a draw with a 76th minute penalty, before a last gasp field goal by the Roos denied them the win in their round one match in Wyong last weekend.

It was a gutsy effort by the Jets in fighting back from a two-try deficit, only to be spoiled by the last-minute heroics from their opponents.

Fullback Will Kennedy performed strongly at fullback, scoring two tries, with lock Jack Williams crossing late for the four-pointer which brought the Newtown side back into the contest.

Williams has been added to the extended Sharks NRL bench on Thursday, however if not required he would turn out for the Newtown side when they play St George Illawarra in the curtain-raiser to the local derby NRL clash.

Again the Jets will field a side with a large contingent of Sharks-contracted players for the game which kicks off at 5.30pm.

See below the team list, a link to the match highlights and all the scorers from the round one loss.
