Sharks NRL head Coach Shane Flanagan will take participants on a guided tour of Southern Cross Group Stadium as a part of the Super Jaws School Holiday clinic early next year.

Scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, Super Jaws is designed for those looking to take their Rugby League skills to the next level and is suited for players of Tackle, Touch and Tag, with the skill stations involving small groups and 1-on-1 coaching.

Flanagan’s input is set to inspire the youngsters taking part, as he shows off and showcases the facilities at Southern Cross Group Stadium, while talking them through a typical training day for his NRL squad, in a special add-on to this year’s holiday clinic.

The program is designed and delivered by Jason Stanton, with the Head of Women’s Rugby League at the Sharks and the Assistant Coach to the New Zealand Ferns World Cup team, to be joined by Daniel Holdsworth, a former Sharks NRL player, the 2017 NYC Assistant Coach and current Sharks Matthews Cup coach.

The experience and knowledge the coaching team brings to the Super Jaws clinic, now with the bonus of Flanagan supplying his special input, ensures the program is second to none.

Super Jaws participants will also receive a Sharks Super Jaws t-shirt, as well as being provided a small lunch of assorted wraps. Also participants are being provided fresh bananas and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.

Also returning over in the upcoming Christmas School holidays is the popular and extremely successful Junior Jaws clinic which this summer is headed for a new venue.

The Junior Jaws Clinic is set to again offer plenty of footy fun, with an emphasis on skill development, with enough action and activity to keep the most energetic youngster occupied.

This time around however Junior Jaws is scheduled to take place at an alternative location at North Cronulla Beach.

As with the Super Jaws clinic, Junior Jaws is to be held on Wednesday, January 24, from 8.00am-11.00am, and is open to boys and girls aged 4 to 9.

Junior Jaws focusses on the fundamentals of Rugby League, with the program delivered in a manner that encourages young players to get involved in the fun of the game.

Junior Jaws participants will also receive a Sharks Junior Jaws t-shirt, as well as being provided fruit and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.
