In a coup for the upcoming Sharks 10 Fun Run, Olympians Eloise Wellings and Victoria Mitchell will both line up in a strong running field.
Having both competed at the two most recent Summer Olympic Games, Wellings and Mitchell will add a level of class to what was already a strong mix of competitive runners, fitness fanatics and social joggers.
Wellings most recent Olympic appearance came in 2016 where she competed in the finals of both the 5,000m and 10,000m races in Rio de Janeiro.
Wellings also competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland where she placed 5th.
Victoria Mitchell’s most recent Olympic appearance came in 2008, where she competed in the fiercely competitive 3000m steeplechase in Beijing, China.
With both having competed in multiple World Championships along with Olympic Games, the Sharks 10 Community Fun Run is an event not to be missed.
