The first of its kind when instigated some 38 years ago, the Sharks Grand Final Luncheon is still going strong, with the 2017 edition set to once again provide the perfect lead-in to the most important game of the NRL season.
Scheduled for September 29, the 2017 Sharks Grand Final Luncheon will feature members of the Sharks Team of the Half Century and a variety of rugby league identities.
The ‘old boys’ will tell tales from years gone by, discuss the Premiership decider to follow on the Sunday and entertain the crowd with some lively footy chat.
Add to that a routine from highly regarded comedian Cam Knight, as well as the usual raffles and auctions and it all points to another Sharks Grand Final luncheon not to be missed.
After the success enjoyed by the Sharks in 2016, who knows, the 2017 Grand Final Luncheon could again prove to be the ideal lead-in for Cronulla members and fans ahead of the biggest weekend on the rugby league calendar.
Tickets are available for $1700 per table or $180 per individual ticket, with the entry price inclusive of beverages, a three-course meal and all the entertainment on the afternoon.
Kick-off to the luncheon is at 12noon, full time at around 4.00pm, with the event to be held in the Showroom at Sharks Leagues Club.
