John Morris has been named NYC Coach of the Year following his side's dominant performance so far in 2017.
Speaking at ANZ Stadium on Monday morning at the 2017 NRL Finals Series launch, Morris said it was a fantastic acheivement for him personally however gave credit to his side for performing on the field.
"It doesn't happen without the team that i'm coaching at the moment so it's kind of secondary to the achivements that the teams made this year.
"To have six guys called up into the team makes me (sic) really proud of them individually... and like I said to those guys, they don't get the reward if the team doesn't play like they have."
