After going 21 rounds without a loss, following 15 consecutive wins, the record-breaking winning streak from the Sharks NYC team came to an end last weekend when beaten by the Sydney Roosters.
Against a committed Roosters side the Sharks failed to come up with the answers when it mattered most, with the 26-18 loss a wake-up call just two weeks out from the finals.
Already crowned minor premiers, the young Sharks will now look to regroup and refocus ahead of their finals campaign, however the Knights will present as formidable opposition as they fight to claim one of the last remaining places inside the top eight.
Sharks coach John Morris has resisted the urge to rest players before the big games ahead, preferring to continue to fine tune his combinations, with a relatively unchanged line up set to take to the field.
The Sharks v Knights NYC match is scheduled to get underway at 11.45am at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.
