Jess Ramien will take to the field for the NYC Sharks after he was initially named in the NRL 21-man squad on Tuesday.
In-form five-eight Luke Metcalf will miss the clash through illness with Luke Jurd being given his chance to start the match.
Another in-form NYC Shark Britton Nikora will also miss the clash with Joshua Carr being given his chance in the starting side.
