After a week’s break the Intrust Super Premiership is back this weekend with the Newtown Jets set to tackle their traditional rivals in the North Sydney Bears in a round 10 clash.
While competitive each week the Jets are languishing towards the bottom of the ISP table, with a win against the Bears away from home imperative should they hope to keep pace with the leading teams.
At their last start is was a similar story, with the Jets well and truly in the game only to go down narrowly to the Wentworthville Magpies, with the loss seeing them anchored on six points and in ninth-position on the ISP ladder.
This week they play a Bears side travelling nicely in fourth spot through the first nine rounds.
The match is set down for a 3.00pm kick-off at North Sydney Oval on Sunday.
