The Sharks’ Tarsha Gale Cup side will go head to head with the Penrith Panthers in a critical Round 9 clash this weekend at St. Mary’s Leagues Club Stadium.

Both sides will hit the field with confidence after securing impressive victories over the Illawarra Steelers and the Parramatta Eels last week.

In what is bound to be an electric contest, the Panthers and the Sharks will fight for one more win in the lead up to the Cup Finals.

The Sharks outfit has long consolidated itself as a strong contender to take out the Tarsha Gale Cup. Our girls have scored a whopping 252 points this season, conceding two losses so far.

Cronulla’s Tayla Preston and Quincy Dodd are among the competition’s top five try scorers. Since Round 1, Preston has racked up a total of ten tries and Dodd has crashed over on six occasions.

The Sharks will have to dig deep to tame the Panthers in unfamiliar territory this Saturday morning. Cronulla will have to watch out of Penrith’s Lorna Shepherd, who impressed last week with a hat trick of four-pointers.

Be there this weekend as the Sharks take on the Panthers in Round 9 of the Tarsha Gale Cup!
