2017 is set to be a big year for Women’s Rugby League not only in the Shire but beyond and it all begins this weekend.

On Saturday, our Women’s NRL side will compete in the Maree Kelly Memorial Women's Rugby Leagye 9’s Tournament on the Central Coast.

Hosted at the Berkeley Vale Rugby League Club, the competition will see our Sharks Womens side take on feeder Club’s from the Sydney Roosters, South Sydney Rabbitohs and Manly Sea Eagles.

The following day, both the Women’s NRL and Tarsha Gale (under 18s) teams will be playing trial matches on Southern Cross Group Stadium.

In the WNRL, the Sharks will take on the Rabbitohs WNRL side while the Tarha Gale side will take on local rivals the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Kick-off for the Tarsha Gale match is set for 11am with the WNRL kick-off time yet to be confirmed.
