One of the most consistent performers in his time at the Cronulla Sharks, Michael Gordon has received a nomination as our Fullback in the Team of the Half Century.

The fullback from the Far North Coast of New South Wales arrived at the Club from the Penrith Panthers after seven seasons at the foot of the mountains.

Gordon debuted for the Club in Round 1 of the 2013 NRL Season against the Gold Coast Titans at Remondis Stadium, where he kicked two goals in the 12-0 victory.

A week later, Gordon would score his first try for the Sharks when we met the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium.

From here, Gordon went on to amass a total of 400 points during his time at the Cronulla Sharks and becoming the Club’s strike goal kicker during that time.

The highlight of Gordon’s career at the Sharks though came in both 2013 and 2014 where he was crowned Monty Porter Medallist at the end of both seasons.

After being a key part of the Sharks push into the 2015 NRL Finals Series, Gordon signed with the Parramatta Eels for the 2016 season.

Congratulations Mick on the nomination.
