It was an exciting morning for the Sydney skyline as the Cronulla Sharks colours were raised high above the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

In a show of support by the NSW Government, the Sharks flag was hoisted high up the flagpole alongside the Australian flag and is set to fly throughout the day and into tonight.

The Sharks flag is the first of any NRL club to sit atop the iconic structure.

In what is a strong show of support for the local Sydney side, the Club is looking forward to the wave of Sharks fans converging on ANZ Stadium for tonight's Grand Final.

Excitment is in the air today Sharks fans. What a time to be alive!

Up Up Cronulla!
