A determined win in their last match of the home and away season has seen the NYC Sharks finish in fourth place, setting up a week one finals clash with minor premiers and Holden Cup defending champions Penrith on Sunday.

The Sharks had to withstand a spirited second half comeback from the Storm last weekend in their match played on the Sunshine Coast, winning 36-30 to give themselves a double-shot in the finals, however the upcoming task is a difficult one against a Panthers team which dominated throughout the year.

In their favour however John Morris has been able to name a strong line up for the Penrith match, with experienced playmaker Jack Williams returning after missing the Storm game due to injury.

The rest of the team which beat the Storm is intact, with young hooker Blayke Brailey retaining a spot on the bench after having good impact when injected into the game during the second half last weekend.

Kyle Flanagan makes way for Williams and has been named as 18th man.

The Sharks play the Panthers at 1.30pm at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
