Sharks five-eighth James Maloney spoke with the media on Tuesday ahead of the side's week one NRL Finals match versus the Raiders in Canberra.

Having claimed a treble of Minor Premierships with the Roosters prior to his move to the Sharks, Maloney said that the side will be out to repcature their mid-season form, without cause for mass changes.

"You build on what you've done," Maloney said.

"You don't need to change anything (heading into the finals) ... I think we've set up quite up early on in the season to be building on what we do, so that we're playing our best footy now.

"You don't change what you do and come up with all these miracle plays ... that's not how you win Semi Final games. We just need to turn up our intensity and make sure we do those little things right.

"Everything else comes off the back of that."
