Winger Sosaia Feki will be missing from the Sharks backline on Monday night due to a groin injury suffered in the game against the Dragons last weekend.
Feki was injured in the first half and took no part in the second period of the match, with the injury not deemed as serious however it will see him miss at least one game.
In his place Sharks coach Shane Flanagan has named Gerard Beale in jersey number 2, with Ricky Leutele back in the starting side for the crucial game on Monday.
Otherwise the Sharks 17-man squad is unchanged, with Paul Gallen expected to play after pulling out of the Dragons game in the warm up and Jesse Sene-Lafao retained on the interchange bench.
The Sharks play Souths at ANZ Stadium on Monday night. Kick-off is at 7.00pm.
