It was a win crucial to their finals aspirations with the NYC Sharks holding their opponents scoreless in the second half in recording at 24-18 win over the Newcastle Knights at their last start.
The Sharks had to battle hard in registering a win which kept them seventh position on the competition ladder.
This week they tackle a Titans team who while sitting outside the top eight have shown enough during the 2016 season to indicate the Sharks won’t have things their own way on Monday night.
The Sharks and Titans have met once this season, back in round six, with the young Cronulla side scoring a 32-20 win on home soil.
Sharks Coach John Morris has retained the team which was successful against Newcastle, with Isaac Lumelume impressing on debut and named to play his second game in the NYC on Monday night, alongside Kyle Flanagan who has also made the step up to the under 20’s after starring for the Sharks SG Ball team in 2016.
The Sharks v Titans match is scheduled for a 4.30pm kick-off on Monday night at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast.
