Sharks Coach Shane Flanagan spoke with the media on Friday afternoon to talks of the side's upcoming Round 13 match with the Bulldogs.

For Flanagan's men, last week's Bye came at just the right time, and he said the Sharks are fit and ready for the challenge that awaits.

"It's been good, (the players) had four days off, I think they enjoyed that," Flanagan said.

"They had a bit of rest ... they've come back pretty fresh and are ready to go."

Flanagan also spoke of the Bulldogs inconsistency in matches this season, however also said he expects a fired up Canterbury-Bankstown side on Monday night.
