It was an exciting clash against the Penrith Panthers at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Sunday with a few plays going close to taking the top gong.

There can though, only be one winner and this week’s Haigh & Hastings ‘Play of the Week’ was a bell-ringer.

In the 33rd minute, Penrith Panthers fullback Matt Moylan received an inside ball from former-Shark Tyron Peachey with Luke Lewis looking.

Stepping directly into the former-Kangaroos’ line, Moylan copped a great hit from Lewis who managed to dislodge the football and gain possession for the Sharks.

Unfortunately, Michael Ennis gave a penalty to the Penrith side from the ensuing play, handing the Panthers good field position.

Lewis’ tackle was nonetheless still a great shot and was hence voted this week’s Haigh & Hastings ‘Play of the Week’.
