Buoyed by the side's performance - and also that of his own - in the Sharks win over the Tigers last weekend, forward Joseph Paulo said he's excited about the brand of football the team showed in the victory at Campbelltown.

"I'm just glad we could match them with our attack, it was exciting to see all the backs getting involved and being creative out there," he said.

"We've been on the verge of scoring points, we've got the team to do it ... it's encouraging to see the freedom of play that we could be at, and to hopefully see more tries."

Paulo also spoke of last year's narrow loss at home to the Titans, and the pending challenge that awaits the Sharks this Sunday.
