Sharks hooker Mick Ennis spoke with the media on Wednesday, and said that he and the team are excited by the difficult Manly challenge that awaits next Monday.

In what will be the veteran's 250th NRL appearance, Ennis said that he and the others who take to the field for the Round 3 clash, will be looking to overturn the Sharks recent run of losses at Brookvale.

"I've never had an easy game there over at Brookvale, regardless of who I'm playing for," Ennis said.

"I actually really enjoy playing there, I love the suburban grounds. Whether it's here (at Southern Cross Group Stadium), or Brookvale ... the passion that comes out amongst the supporters, we're really looking forward to going over there."

Ennis also gave his appraisal on the recent form of fullback Ben Barba, while wishing injured Storm number one Billy Slater a speedy recovery from shoulder surgery.
