100 Cronulla Sharks Members were last night treated to a night out at the cricket, attending the Sydney Sixers clash with the Brisbane Heat in the KFC Big Bash.

In a night where the home side were unable to claim victory, Sharks Members were still able to enjoy a pleasant summer evening under lights at the iconic SCG.

After winning the toss, Sixers captain Brad Haddin chose to have first crack on the bowling deck and sent the visiting side into bat.

Lendl Simmons (54) and Joe Burns (60) led the Brisbane side to a strong total of 162, ensuring the 24,000 strong crowd would be in for an exciting second innings run chase.

The home-side however never found their rhythm and despite some big-hitting from Michael Lumb (47) and Brad Haddin (42) were unable to chase down the total to finish 8-156 of their 20 overs.

This experience for Sharks Members was made possible thanks to a host of new and exciting Membership initiatives on offer in 2016.

For more information on how you can take advantage of these opportunities and more, head to http://membership.sharks.com.au/ or call our Membership team today on 1300 SHARKS (742757).
