While playing finals football might be out of the equation in 2015, the NYC Sharks showed they still have plenty of fight left in them after storming home to snatch a draw against the Storm despite being down by 24-points with under 20 minutes of the match remaining.
Down and seemingly out at 28-4 behind deep into the second half the young Sharks showed plenty of resolve to level the scores, with a contentious refereeing call on the stroke of full time costing them a chance of recording a remarkable victory.
Now with only pride to play for, the Sharks host the Wests Tigers in the first of three games scheduled for Remondis Stadium on Saturday.
Sharks coach James Shepherd has rewarded fullback Ryan Cummins for a solid performance against the Storm by reinstating him as fullback, while Curtis Scott has been named to return in the centres after missing the drawn match from last weekend.
The NYC match will get underway at 10.40am on Saturday, with the NSW Cup match between the Sharks and Knights at 12.40am and the big NRL clash at 3.
