It was a long time coming and it turned out to be a long way to run for him to get it, however Gerard Beale managed to notch his first try as a Shark in the win over the Cowboys last night.
Beale collected a Johnathan Thurston cross-field kick and dashed 95-metres to score, giving his team some breathing space as they hung on to record a win that has them firmly in the frame for a top four berth come finals time.
Understandably it was an extemely satisfied and happy Beale who spoke with Sharks TV straight after the game.
