Cronulla outside back Gerard Beale this week spoke to Sharks TV ahead of the clash with his former side, the St. George Illawarra Dragons.

Moving to the Sharks ahead of the 2015 season, Beale said he and the side were disappointed with their last derby showing in round 12, and that he and the squad will be out to atone come Sunday afternoon.

"Since then though we've been in, I think, fairly good form. We're looking to keep improving and it'll be a good challenge against the Dragons," Beale said.

"They've been going well themselves... it's going to be a big game."

Having won three of their last four matches, the Sharks will be confident despite falling at the hands of the Sea Eagles at Brookvale in round 17.

Hear what Beale had to say on the derby clash, and the remainder of season 2015, with his interview now playing on Sharks TV.
