A renowned competitor on the field, Sharks hooker Michael Ennis shows a side most often don't get to see in this week's edition of 'Sharks off the Park'.

Having signed with the Sharks midway through last season, Ennis arrived at Cronulla ahead of the 2015 campaign and settled into the fold with ease.

"It's been everything I could have hoped for," he said.

"The style of footy we play here really suits my game. The guys that are in the side, we've got a wealth of experience ... and then some really exciting young kids.

"It's a Club that's really on the up."

A weekly host on Fox Sports' NRL 360, Ennis said he has a serious desire to pursue a career in the media after his playing days.

"I've got the regular gig there with Ben (Ikin) and Paul (Kent) on the NRL 360, which is really enjoyable," said Ennis.

"It's really good to have that outside of footy, it gives you a really good balance and a good education of the media."
