An injury to winger Sosaia Feki has opened the way for Sharks coach Shane Flanagan to name Ben Barba at fullback for the clash with Warriors on Saturday.

Feki injured the knee playing for Tonga in the Pacific Test match on Saturday and as a result Valentine Holmes and Michael Gordon will now play on the Sharks wings, with Barba named in the number one jersey.

In other team news, Jayson Bukuya, fresh from captaining Fiji to victory over PNG last weekend, comes into the starting team for the Sharks, bringing him into direct opposition with his Warriors teammates of last season.

Flanagan has named a five man bench, one which includes Sami Sauiluma and Pat Politoni. Should either of the pair be used in the Warriors match it would be their first appearances for the Sharks in the top grade in 2015. For Sauiluma, it would be his first outing in the NRL in Cronulla colours.

The Sharks will look to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at the hands of the Panthers at their last start when they host the Warriors at Remondis, with kick off scheduled for 5.30pm.

The Sharks team list is as follows;
