Cronulla-Sutherland Junior Rugby League players and volunteers will be the centerpiece of the Sharks Round 4 clash with the Gold Coast Titans at Remondis Stadium this Saturday.

The Sharks will pay tribute to players and volunteers from all 14 Sutherland Shire Junior Rugby League Clubs as part of the ‘PlayNRL’ celebration of grassroots football.

Former Sharks player and current Club Membership Ambassador Beau Ryan is the face of the NRL’s ‘PlayNRL’ campaign, promoting the numerous health, physical, social and academic benefits which playing rugby league offers children.

Junior league players and volunteers will be involved in both pre-match and half-time activities on the field as well as participating in a lap of the field at half-time.

Half-time entertainment will also feature a range of Oz-Tag matches, Backyard League matches, our ‘PlayNRL’ interview with Junior Rugby League representative Judd O’Shea and the $1,000 Sharks Members draw.

Activities on the Family Hill include the opportunity to meet the Mermaids, Sharks mascots Reefy and Hammerhead, a pass the ball competition, conversion kicking competition and jumping castle.

After the final whistle, fans will have the chance to re-enact their favorite moments of the match with spectators allowed onto Remondis Stadium for Shark Kick.

Gates open at 3:00pm and families are urged to get to the ground early to be a part of a true celebration of both our junior players and volunteers.

Be sure to make yourself heard on social media in the build-up to the game and during the match by using the hashtags #WeAreSharks and #PlayNRL on Twitter and Instagram by posting pictures of your memorable Junior Rugby League moments.
